Visual Inspection
Industrial non-destructive material testing is an important procedure for evaluating the quality and integrity of materials. Within this field, visual inspection plays a significant role in identifying defects, cracks or other issues. During visual inspection, after appropriate surface cleaning, the inspection specialist visually examines the material to detect possible defects or irregularities. This procedure is quick and cost-effective and serves as the first step before a detailed analysis.
During industrial non-destructive materials testing, the specialist focuses on surface cracks, pits, fine defects and other material irregularities. Using visual inspection, the specialist can identify issues that may affect the material’s strength, mechanical properties or usability.
It is important to note that in addition to visual inspection, other special non-destructive testing methods are also used to check the condition of materials. These can include ultrasonic testing or Metal Magnetic Memory testing. These methods provide more detailed information about the structure of materials and their defects. Industrial non-destructive material testing, including visual inspection, is crucial in production processes and product quality control. It ensures appropriate quality and reliability in the industrial sector.
Our trained team carries out tests using various methods, including visual inspection, ultrasonic testing, Magnetic Particle Inspection and other specialised techniques. This enables us to provide accurate and reliable results for our clients.
