Company formation and the Iranian adventure
Our company was founded in 1992 by Hungarian individuals with extensive experience in the oil and petrochemical industry. At the Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company Ltd. in Iran, the founders decided to establish the business in connection with post-war restoration work carried out at an LD polyethylene plant operating at 3,500 bar. The experience and contacts gained during the Iranian adventure laid the foundations for the company's future success. The company's name, Trans Lex Work, reflects three core values: transport (Transportation), specialist knowledge (Lexical Knowledge) and work (Work). At present, the company operates as a private limited company (Ltd.) that is 100% Hungarian family-owned, committed to stable growth and innovation.
General contracting and domestic expansion
The period between 1995 and 2000 was marked by the development of the general contractor role and expansion in the domestic market. The company placed great emphasis on engineering activities, which enabled it to execute and manage complex projects. In order to strengthen its presence on the domestic market, it continuously expanded its client base and increased its visibility. The success achieved and the expanding client base provided a stable foundation for further growth, enabling the company to become a key player in the industry.
Laying the foundations for machine installation and the diagnostics division
Between 2000 and 2010, the company underwent a significant transformation, laying the foundations for its machine assembly activities and establishing the diagnostic division. This decade was a period of innovation and expansion of the service portfolio. The establishment of the diagnostic division opened up new opportunities and contributed to strengthening the company's market position. Successes in general contracting further enhanced the company's reputation and enabled it to undertake increasingly complex and larger-scale projects. The new division and the expanding range of services contributed to the company's dynamic growth.
The full realisation of representative activities
Between 2011 and 2017, the company's representation activities reached full maturity, and greater emphasis was placed on machine installation and diagnostic activities. During this period, the company successfully expanded its international presence and built up its connections in global markets. New projects and a growing client base resulted in further growth and stability. The company continuously developed its expertise and services, enabling it to become increasingly competitive. The results achieved strengthened the company's position in the industry.
Present: The bright future
In 2018, the generational change that the owners and colleagues had been systematically preparing since 2013 came to fruition. From 1 June 2018, Katalin Magyar and Gábor Kiss took over as Managing Directors, while Balázs Magyar was appointed Operations Director. Our aim is to build on the success of the past 30 years for at least another 30 year, with many innovations, professional rotating machinery installation, maintenance and condition monitoring services, accredited diagnostic and materials testing activities, as well as the sale of rotating machinery belonging to the Howden by Cart Industries group and their parts. The results achieved and the expanding client base provide a foundation for a bright future.
