Comprehensive condition assessment of equipment
Within the framework of Trans Lex Work Ltd.’s accredited Diagnostics and Materials Testing Laboratory, we use modern technical and diagnostic measurements as well as non-destructive material testing methods (visual, liquid penetrant, ultrasonic, magnetic particle and Metal Magnetic Memory (MMM) testing) to formulate our expert opinion on the technical condition of everything from the concrete foundations of machines and devices to all pressure equipment, storage tanks, rotating machinery, shut-off valves, pipelines and insulation, taking structural integrity into account.
Non-destructive material testing and condition assessment begin with the development of an individual inspection plan pertaining to the given device, during which we take into account the equipment’s history, characteristic properties, possible failure modes, the detectability and reliability of the tests, and their cost, and, depending on these factors, we strive to issue an inspection plan that provides sufficient relevant information about the device with optimum cost expenditure.
Depending on the client’s requirements, our company, acting as the main contractor, carries out all work required for the preparation of the tests, such as scaffolding, insulation removal, assembly, cleaning and surface preparation. Following the laboratory’s tests, the professional restoration of the machines and the performance of any necessary repairs also fall within the company’s scope of activities.
