SMART-UP® Case Study
Following a comprehensive site assessment conducted for Dreher Breweries Ltd., TLW successfully implemented, commissioned and operates the SMART-UP® online diagnostic monitoring system on two wet grinding units.
The SMART-UP® system enables the simultaneous measurement and monitoring of 24 measurement channels across the two machines, providing valuable insights into equipment condition and supporting the optimisation of maintenance activities through the early detection of developing faults.
Measured vibration and temperature data are transmitted to the cloud via a mobile GSM router, ensuring secure and continuous access for both Dreher Breweries and TLW specialists. The system architecture is based on autonomous monitoring units and GSM communication, allowing measurement data to be uploaded directly to the cloud without the need for dedicated local infrastructure.
Authorised internal and external users can access trends, vibration spectra and time-waveform data through a web-based interface without the need for additional software installation. This provides a flexible and user-friendly environment for condition monitoring and data analysis.
TLW’s diagnostic experts continuously supervise the monitored equipment and prepare detailed monthly condition reports. These reports document machine condition, identify potential risks and include recommendations for corrective maintenance actions when required.
The SMART-UP® platform also supports event-driven operation, enabling the storage of idle-state data and the display of selected operational parameters directly at the machine location or within designated control rooms.
The online diagnostic monitoring system installed and operated by TLW delivers significant benefits to Dreher Breweries.
